Title in the original language: “What I Talk About When I Talk About Running”
Posted: Kharuki Murakami
Genre: autobiography

Summary
Running makes us better. For example, Haruki Murakov claims that he began to run at age 33. Since then, he runs 6 times on a Sunday and annually participates in one marathon. Murakami also claims to have become a writer due to the treadmill. The book “What I’m saying when talking about running” is written by a great master, which means that you will find original ideas, you can better understand his motivation and attitude to running.

If you do not run, be sure to start. Do not forget only when you start to run, be sure to give way to the goal: to run a certain distance at a certain start. For example, a marathon in Greece, which is so interestingly described by Murakami. True, he did not run it during the official launch. The purpose of the goal is to force you to go out into the street when it is raining, snow or you are very tired after work. This book made a massive run of great influence, much more than any other book for the last ten years.

Running is an individual sport. He allows for the time to disconnect from all possible means of communication and to stay alone with him. On trips, you will be better able to explore places where you will be fate, meet like-minded people and get new feelings that can not be bought for any money. After running you open, no, create a new one yourself.
Impressions from the book
This book is an autobiographical story of a person who, until the age of 33, led an unhealthy way of life. He wrote the book of fuels, drinks, worked in his own bar until the morning … But when his creative writing career began, he decided to engage in work in the bar and take up his life, his health and began to run.

When the author wrote the book, he already ran 27 marathons. Since the author is an amateur of the race and his personal result on the marathon — 3:27 and are not somehow remarkable, but the way Murakami treats deserves to be respected.

Most of all, I was struck by the idea of reading a book — to run one marathon a year. But — throughout life.

I also liked how the author describes his experience of participating in the ultramarathon. A difficult experience, which, as he writes, he would not like to repeat.

As for me, this is not just an interesting book about running. This book is a promacharistic approach to life. Planned, regular preparation, search and overcoming of limitations in oneself, transformation of suffering — into experience.
